First Day : Cusco – Wayllabamba

  • Traditional Inca Trail in Cusco begins around 04:30 in the morning, picking up passengers from their respective hotels.
  • Travel by private bus to the town of Ollantaytambo (duration 01 hour 30 minutes).
  • In this place the porters and the cook join our group.
  • We continue our journey to KM. 82, the starting point of the walk.
  • Once we crossed the bridge at Km 82, we started to climb to our first objective, the archaeological center of Llactapata.
  • When we arrived at the place, we will take the first lunch.
  • Continuing with the trip we will go to our first camp, located in Wayllabamba at approximately 3,000 meters above sea level.
  • Dinner and rest surrounded by the quietness of the mountains.

Second Day : Wayllabamba – Pacaymayo.

  • Early in the morning we have breakfast, to start walking in the cloud forest.
  • We begin the ascent by climbing steep stairs to the LLulluchapampa sector.
  • We take a short break to recover our energy.
  • Continuing the hike, begin the ascent to the Abra de Warmiwañusca (4,200).
  • Arriving at the highest point, we will observe the most beautiful landscapes surrounded by Andean mountains.
  • After a brief rest, we start descending through a winding forest to have lunch.
  • Finally we arrive at the second camp of Pacaymayo (3,600 meters above sea level).

Third Day : Pacaymayo Wiñaywayna.

  • A healthy breakfast to start the walk.
  • This is the longest day of the journey.
  • Our next target is the archaeological center of Runkurakay, located at 3,900 meters above sea level.
  • You will visit the ruins of Sayacmarka surrounded by beautiful vegetation at 3,624 meters above sea level.
  • Continuing the descent, we will go to Puyupatamarka, a historical fortress made up of beautiful water channels.
  • Finally, you will arrive at the most beautiful area of the Wiñayhuayna Inca Trail, the last campsite at 3,000 masl.

Fourth Day : Wiñayhuayna – Machupicchu – Cusco.

  • After a good breakfast, we start the last walk of our tour.
  • Approximately 06 kilometers with a duration of 03 hours.
  • On the route we will be able to observe a variety of flora and fauna, especially a variety of orchids.
  • The next stop will be the Intipunku or Sun Gate at 2490 meters above sea level.
  • First view of our destination the wonder of Macchupicchu.
  • You will be able to observe the entire extension of the Machupicchu Sanctuary.
  • Guided visit by the most important places of the citadel, like the urban zone, religious zone and terraces.
  • At the scheduled time, you should get down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • Time for lunch.
  • At the time indicated, you should go to the train station to take the train back to Cusco.
  • Transfer to your hotel.

  • Transfer by tourist bus from the hotel in Cusco to kilometer 82.
  • Entrance tickets to the Inca Trail and Machupicchu Sanctuary.
  • Specialized professional trekking guide.

  • The porters are the personnel in charge of carrying the food and the necessary equipment for the camping.
  • 01 porter to carry the personal luggage (Maximum 06 kilos per person).

  • It is recommended to make the reservation in advance, at least 3 months before.
  • Take into consideration that there are 500 spaces available daily for visitors, porters, and guides.
  • It is important to provide all personal information to proceed with the reservation.
  • The Inca Trail reservation is NOT transferable, it is NOT refundable.


  • The porters carry the camping equipment, supplies for food preparation.
  • The visitors must carry their belongings, considering only 04 days of walking.
  • We recommend having good physical health since the walk demands a significant effort.
  • If you have any special medication, you should consult in advance and mention it to the guide so that he can take the necessary precautions.
  • We provide the appropriate camping equipment, spacious tents, mats, pillows, and other implements needed for the days of the tour.
  • Fresh and varied food, delicious meals prepared by our cooks, with extensive experience in mountain trails.
  • We work with qualified tourism personnel with a good command of the English language.
  • Each person is given help with their 6kg/12lbs luggage, including their insulation and sleeping bag, for which they are provided with travel bags to be carried by the porters.
