Description of the Program.

  • Contact in your hotels then start journey to the southern valley, on the route you will appreciate Andean villages surrounded by mountains and crops of the different products that grow the inhabitants of the area.

  • 1st Visit Tipón:
    Archaeological rest with huge experimental Incas terraces, with irrigation systems that lead to water-evoked altars. Impressive growing space containing 12 terraces that are currently cultivated, whose walls were built with finely carved stones. even more impressive is the irrigation system that is still serving agriculture and the advantage is the intake of water in the spring season.
  • 2nd Visit Pikillacta:

    It has characteristics of a large urban center corresponding to the time of development of the wari empire with more than a thousand buildings between squares, colcas (food deposits), courts or houses, temples, long and narrow streets with buildings that had up to 4 stories high.

  • 3rd Visit Andahuaylillas, Sistine Chapel of America:

    Typical Andean villa of the time of the colony of singular origin and architecture. Andahuaylillas its Catholic temple of the colonial era with a beautiful decoration and mural painting of the seventeenth and eighteenth century known as the Sistine Chapel of Cusco. On return we will pass saylla, typical Cuzqueño village where you can enjoy the delicious typical dishes, (optional) you return to the city of Cusco at approximately 15:30 hours.

  • Itinerary:
    • 09:00 in the morning our guide will contact you at your hotel for the start of the tour.
    • On the way, you will visit the whole area of the South Valley of Cusco.
    • You will first visit the Archaeological Center of Tipon, known for being one of the most outstanding works of hydraulics of the Inca culture.
    • You will continue the trip to the pre-Inca town of Pikillaqta, where you will have a guided tour, around the city of mud, where you will be able to observe the streets, squares, and houses.
    • Then you will continue the trip to the Andahuaylillas Church, better known as the Sistine Church of America, a Catholic church where the paintings of the Cusco School stand out.
    • On your return to Cusco, on the way, you will have the option of tasting a typical dish in the town of Saylla.
    • At approximately 2:00 p.m. you will return to the city of Cusco.
