Islands of Uros, Amantani, Taquile and Sillustani
DAY 01 : RECEPTION AT JULIACA AIRPORT, TRIP TO PUNO
- Contact at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Puno.
- Free afternoon.
- It is important to rest, eat light food and adapt to the height of the place.
- We recommend visitors to acclimatize for an afternoon, to start the tour the next day.
DAY 02 : VISIT TO THE UROS FLOATING ISLANDS – OVERNIGHT ON AMANTANI ISLAND
- 07:30 contact at hotel for transfer to the port.
- Upon arrival, you will board the boat and begin your adventure on the highest lake in the world.
- Visit of the floating islands of the Uros, duration: 2 hours.
- Then continue to Amantani Island located at 3800 meters above sea level.
- Upon arrival, the locals will be waiting for you with excitement and invite you to their home.
- Typical lunch to share with the members of the Andean family.
- In the afternoon you will visit the viewpoints of Pachatata and Pachapapa.
- Dinner with the family.
DAY 03 : AMANTANI – TAQUILE ISLAND – PUNO
- Typical family breakfast.
- Start of the trip to Taquile Island, duration 01hrs30.
- Upon arrival, start of walk along an inclined path towards the main square of the island.
- From the highest point you will have wonderful views of Lake Titicaca.
- Typical lunch in a local restaurant.
- Return in the boat to the city of Puno.
- Transfer from the port to your hotel.
DAY 04: EXCURSION TO CHULLPAS DE SILLUSTANI AND TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
- Early contact with our representative to start the trip to the famous Chullpas of Sillustani.
- The Chullpas of Sillustani, also known as the Cemetery of Sillustani.
- This beautiful place is located 34 kilometers from Puno, at an altitude of 4000 meters.
- The archaeological complex of Sillustani is formed by 90 Chullpas, each one would represent a noble family at that time.
- At the appointed time, transfer to the airport in Juliaca, to take the return flight.
- Return flight from Cusco to Lima.
