DAY 01 : Cusco – Km 104 – Machupicchu

  • Our representative will contact you at your hotel in Cusco.
  • Transfer by car to the town of Ollantaytambo (duration 01h30).
  • Arriving at Ollantaytambo you will take the train to Km. 104.
  • Beginning of the trip for 01hora30, to the starting point of the trek.
  • On the way you will observe the beautiful Vilcanota valley.
  • Arriving at the starting point, our guide will be waiting for you to start the trek.
  • You will ascend for 03 hours to Chachabamba, on the way you will be able to appreciate the beautiful forestation.
  • Arriving there you will have a cold lunch.
    Continuing the ascent you will go to the archaeological center of Wiñayhuayna, and after 1 hour and 45 minutes you will arrive at the Intipunku or Sun Gate.
  • First view of the wonder of the world Machupicchu.
  • Arrival at this point is quite late, therefore, should immediately descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • Transfer to the designated hotel, accommodation and rest.
  • Dinner at a tourist restaurant.

DAY 02 : Visit to Machupicchu – Return to Cusco

  • Very early in the morning you will start the ascent to the Machupicchu Citadel (duration 01 hour).
  • On arrival you will appreciate the first rays of sun on the top of Huaynapicchu.
  • Guided tour in Machupicchu approximately 02 hours.
  • You will have free time to take pictures and enjoy the magic of the place.
  • At the indicated time you will take the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • Time for lunch at a tourist restaurant.
    At the indicated time you will go to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo.
  • When you arrive our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

How do I prepare myself?

How much luggage can I take?

Cusco is a city with a very varied climate, in the months of November to February is known as the rainy season, the months of May until the end of July is the cold season, the remaining months are warmer and with better weather. For this reason it is recommended that visitors wear warm clothing on the tours they take, and always carry sunscreen, light clothing, comfortable shoes for walking and what is necessary to enjoy the trip to the fullest.
